1: General Settings

Go to: Events >> Settings >> General >> General Settings

  • Cart page has shortcodes: [el_cart/].

  • Thank you page: Redirect after booking successfully

  • Search Result page: The page displays the result of search form. The content of page has to include shortcodes: [el_search_result/] or [el_search_map pos1="name_event" pos2="location" pos3="cat" pos4="all_time" pos5="start_event" pos6="end_event" pos7="venue" pos8="loc_state" pos9="loc_city" /]

  • My account page: shortcode is: [el_member_account/] and slug is "member-account". Suppliers will manage events in this page.

  • Secret Key QR Code: Add some complex characters that will be attached to string to generate QR code.

  • Scan QR Code with: You can choose scan QR code with the application or the website . Read more here

  • Remove default image size: When you upload a new image, the system removes WordPress’s default image size and keeps only the sizes defined by the plugin, helping to optimize hosting capacity

  • Remove WooCommerce image size: When you upload a new image, the system removes WooCommerce’s default image size and keeps only the sizes defined by the plugin, helping to optimize hosting capacity.

  • Add Additional File Types to be Uploaded: The list of file extensions that can be uploaded to the site

  • Allows downloading tickets as zip files: Yes (Recommended). Make sure your server supports ZIP.

  • Total Custom Taxonomy: After entering number of Custom Taxonomy you want in Total Custom Taxonomy tab, go to: Events >> custom taxonomy to configure custom taxonomies

  • Cookie Expired(seconds): Used for the Recent View Event Feature

2: Map Settings

Go to: Events >> Settings >> General >> Map Settings

  • Google API Key Map: If you want to display Maps in your site, you have to insert google api key map. Get the Key here

  • Bounds: The map will search within the specified bounds

  • Search By Country: The system will filter or display results based on the country you select. By default, the search includes all countries.

3: Currency Options

Go to Events >> Settings >> General >> Currency Options

  • Currency: Choose your currency

  • Currency Position: Left, Right, Left with space, Right with Space

  • Thousand Separator: By default, the thousand separator is a comma (,)

  • Decimal Separator: By default, the Decimal separator is a dot (.)

  • Number of Decimals: By default, number of decimals is 2

4: Calendar Settings

Go to: Events >> Settings >> General >> Calendar Settings

  • Date Format: Support 4 types, including d-m-y, m/d/y, y/m/d, y-m-d

  • Time Format: Support 2 types, including 24 hours (00 - 24) or 12 hours (AM, PM)

  • Calendar Language: That is the language used to display the components on the calendar (months, days, weekdays, navigation buttons, etc.) in the interface.

  • Choose weekend: You can choose one or multiple days

  • The First day of week: You have choose a day.

5: Cron job

Go to: Events >> Settings >> General >> Cron Job

You should use this feature. The system will automatically update the event status, which helps optimize the website’s performance.

Step 1: Then Import Demo Data, You need to click "Update Event Status" button.

Step 2: Setup Cron job

There are 2 ways to choose:

  • Automatic: The system automatically update Event Status.

  • Manually: You have to click "Update Event Status" Button to update Event Status.
