Steps to Create a Mixed ( Day & Hour ) Rental Product ( Rental Type: Mixed )

Go to: Product >> Ad New Product

1: Add General Information

Add Title & Short Description / Description

Add Product Image, Product Gallery, Product Categories, Product Tags, Brands

2: Set Pricing Plan based day and hour (rental type: mixed )

Both Day-based rental price and hour-based rental price are applied in an order

Step 1: Enable Rental Type: Mixed ( Day and Hour )

Firstly, go to: Product Data Dropdown, choose: "Rental" Value
Then, go to: Rental Type Dropdown, choose: "Mixed ( Day and Hour )" Value

Step 2: Set mixed ( day & hour ) rental price

+ Set regular price/day and regular price/hour

This pricing plan is used when the rental price is the same for all days of the week. With this rental type, the rental duration is calculated based on the number of rental days (where 1 day equals 24 hours) and the number of additional hours.

For example, suppose you charge $20 per day and $2 per hour. A customer rents your car from June 17, 2024, at 7:00 AM to June 18, 2024, at 8:00 AM. That’s a total of 25 hours, which equals 1 day (24 hours) + 1 extra hour. So, the total amount the customer must pay is: $20 (1 day) + $2 (1 hour) = $22.
