# Manage Category

## 1: Add New Category

Go to Event >> Category >> Insert Name of category

Insert some fields:

**Name**

**Icon Class**: this icon will use in shortcode

**Thumbnail**

## 2: Display Category at frontend

Go to Apperance >> Menu >> Edit a Menu >> Choose a category in Event Categories tab and add to menu

## 3: Customize Template of Category at frontend

Copy file: \
Plugins/ova-events/templates/archive-event.php file

to

Your-theme/ovaev-templates/ folder. You have to create "ovaev-templates" folder in your theme.
