# Pick-up Location

### 1) Defined

Controls the pickup location input displayed on the booking form. Use this to show or hide the field, and optionally rename its label.

**Applies to rental type**: <mark style="background-color:$warning;">Day</mark> · <mark style="background-color:$warning;">Hour</mark> · <mark style="background-color:$warning;">Mixed</mark> · <mark style="background-color:$warning;">Period Time</mark> · <mark style="background-color:$warning;">Taxi</mark> · <mark style="background-color:$warning;">Transportation</mark>

### 2) Config in Product

You can find the setting in "Advanced opitions" tab.

| Show                               | <ul><li><strong>Category setting</strong> — inherits the show/hide rule from the product category.</li><li><strong>Yes</strong> — always show the pickup location field on the booking form.</li><li><strong>No</strong> — always hide it.</li></ul>                    |
| Enter another location in form     | <ul><li><strong>Yes</strong> — allow the customer to type a custom pickup address in addition to the predefined dropdown.</li><li><strong>No</strong> — restrict to predefined locations only.<br><em>(Not available for Taxi and Transportation types.)</em></li></ul> |
