# Locations surcharge
### 1) Defined
Add surcharges per individual pickup or dropoff location, separate from the pair fee above.

Global setting — use surcharges configured in BRW →Manage Locations→ Manage Location Surcharges.
Local — define custom surcharges specifically for this product (tables below).

| Charge only once if pick-up and drop-off location are the same | When enabled, if the customer selects the same location for both pickup and dropoff, the surcharge is applied only once instead of twice. |
| Pick-up Location surcharge table | Add rows: **Pick-up Location** + **Price**. Fee is added when the customer selects that pickup location. |
| Drop-off location surcharge table | Add rows: **Drop-off Location** + **Price**. Fee is added when the customer selects that dropoff location. |

**Different location surcharge** — if the customer enters a custom address not in the predefined list, the system calculates the distance from their address to the Rental Office Address and charges a per-km rate.
* **Price**: Rate charged per kilometre for out-of-area locations.
* **Delivery service radius**: Maximum distance from the office the service is available. Customers beyond this radius cannot book.
