# Guest option

### 1) Defined

Controls whether the guest section appears on the booking form and which guest types are available.

**Field**: <a class="button primary">guest-options</a>

**Applies to rental type**: <mark style="background-color:$success;">All types</mark>

### 2) Config in Product

You can find the setting in "Advanced opitions" tab.

| Show guests              | Checkbox. Enable to show the guests section on the booking form. If unchecked, all guest fields are hidden.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 |
| Types of guests          | <ul><li><strong>All</strong> — use  all guest types configured in <strong>BRW → General Settings → Guest Options</strong>.</li><li><strong>Local</strong> — choose specific guest types for this product only (select from dropdown below).</li></ul>                                                                                       |
| Select guests            | Multi-select. Shown when set to **Local**. Choose which guest types (e.g. Adults, Children, Infants) are available on this product's booking form.                                                                                                                                                                                          |
| Guest info fields        | <ul><li><strong>Global settings</strong> — use guest info fields from BRW global settings.</li><li><strong>Local</strong> — choose specific info fields for this product.</li><li><strong>None</strong> — disable guest info collection entirely.<br><em>(Only visible if Guest info collection is enabled in BRW settings.)</em></li></ul> |

After selecting **“Guest options”** in the settings and **Saving the product,** if you want to set up the minimum number, maximum number, and price for each guest type, you must configure them in the **“**[**Guests (pricing & limits)**](/brw/create-a-product/shared-fields/guests/guests-pricing-and-limits.md)**”** setting.
