# Booking Conditions
### 1) Defined
Control how long customers can rent and how far in advance they can book. All fields are optional; leave blank to apply no restriction.
**Field**: booking-conditions
**Applies to rental type**: All Types. However some fields only shows in some rental type.
### 2) Config in Product
You can find the setting in "Advanced opitions" tab.

| Minimum booking days | Day | Shortest rental duration in days. Example: `1` = at least 1 day. |
| Maximum booking days | Day | Longest rental duration in days. Leave empty for no limit. |
| Minimum booking nights | Hotel | Minimum number of nights per booking. |
| Maximum booking nights | Hotel | Maximum number of nights per booking. |
| Minimum booking hours | Hour · Mixed | Shortest rental duration in hours. |
| Maximum booking hours | Hour · Mixed | Longest rental duration in hours. |
| Preparation days | Day · Transportation | Days blocked after a rental ends. Example: `1` → day after dropoff is blocked. Next available date is dropoff + 2. |
| Preparation time (minutes) | Hour · Mixed · Period · Taxi | Minutes blocked after a rental ends within the same day. Example: `60` → next booking starts 1 hour after previous dropoff. |
| Minimum advance booking days | All types | Days of notice required. Example: `3` → customers cannot book within the next 3 days. |
| Maximum advance booking days | All types | How far into the future bookings are accepted. Example: `60` → no bookings more than 2 months ahead. |
| Disable weekdays | All types |
Global setting — from BRW settings. Local — override for this product only. None — no weekdays disabled.

| Select day of the week | All types | Multi-select (Mon–Sun). Chosen days are blocked as pickup/dropoff dates. Active when Disable weekdays = Local. |
| Same-Day Rental Only | Hour only | When checked, pickup and dropoff must be on the same calendar day. |

**Preparation days vs. Preparation time:** Use **Preparation days** for a full-day buffer (Day type). Use **Preparation time (minutes)** for same-day turnaround (Hour/Mixed/Taxi).

**Example (Day type):** Car returned Jan 5. Preparation days = 1 → Jan 6 blocked. Next pickup available Jan 7.\
**Example (Hour type):** Rental ends 09:00. Preparation time = 60 min → next booking starts at 10:00.
