# Map / Place

## 1) Defined

Pin the product's physical location on a map shown on the product detail page. Requires a Google Maps API key configured in BRW settings. You also can use OpenStreetMap

**Field**: <a class="button primary">map</a>

**Applies to rental type**: <mark style="background-color:$success;">All Types</mark>

## 2) Config in Product

| Field                 | Description                                                                                                                                 |
| --------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Address `address`     | Enter an address to search (Google Places autocomplete fills latitude/longitude automatically). Saved as a text label for display purposes. |
| Latitude `latitude`   | Decimal latitude. Auto-filled when using address search; can be adjusted manually.                                                          |
| Longitude `longitude` | Decimal longitude. Auto-filled when using address search; can be adjusted manually.                                                         |

You can drag the map pin to fine-tune the position after using the address search. The latitude and longitude fields update automatically.
