All fields below are only active when *Enable deposit* is checked. **Field**: deposit **Applies to rental type**: All Types ### 2) Config in Product | Field | Description | | ---------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | Enable deposit `enable_deposit` | Checkbox — activates deposit functionality for this product. | | Show full payment `force_deposit` | Checkbox — **checked**: shows both "Full Payment" and "Pay Deposit" options in the booking form. **Unchecked**: deposit-only (full payment option is hidden). | | Default selected `default_deposit` | Radio — which option is pre-selected in the form: **Full Payment** (`full`) or **Pay Deposit** (`deposit`). | | Deposit type `type_deposit` | Radio — **Percentage** (`percent`): a % of the total order. **Fixed** (`value`): a flat currency amount. | | Amount `amount_deposit` | The deposit value. Interpreted as a percentage when type is Percentage, or as a price when Fixed. |

### 4: Manage Remaining Amount To check which orders are currently deposit orders, the admin can check whether the **Deposit** column has the value **"Partial Payment"** on the **Manage Bookings** page.

**The system supports 2 way to create Remaining Order: Manual and Automatically.** ### a) The way 1: The admin creates remaining order manually {% stepper %} {% step %} ### Go to Order Details of original Order * Go to BRW >> Manage Booking >> Choose an order in Order column.

{% endstep %} {% step %} ### Create a second order for the remaining payment * If the customer pays the remaining amount directly at the counter or office, you can select **"Pay full (offline)"**. * The system will create a second order with the **Processing** status. * Go to BRW >> Manage Bookings >> You will see "Full Payment" status in Deposit comlumn.

* If the customer wants to pay the remaining amount online, you can create a second order and send the payment page to the customer via email. * Click "Create Remaining Invoice" button to create second order * In second order choose action "Send order details to customer" to sends the order details to the customer

{% endstep %} {% step %} ### The customer pays the remaining amount The system will send an email to the customer. The customer can click the link in the email to pay the remaining amount.

The customer will click "pay for this order" link

{% endstep %} {% step %} ### Manage Bookings Go to BRW >> Manage Bookings >> You will see the relationship between the first order and the second order, along with the completed statuses for all payments.

{% endstep %} {% endstepper %} ### b) The way 2: The system creates remaining order automatically. Go to **WooCommerce >> Settings >> Booking & Rental >> Deposit**

#### Remaining Amount **Send order detail to customer**: Once the remaining order is created, the system will automatically send the order details to the customer's email including a link for the customer to pay the remaining amount online #### Automatically Create Order Details for Remaining Amount * **Enable :** When enabled, the system will automatically generate the remaining invoice * **X day before pick-up date:** The system will generate the remaining order **X days** before the scheduled pick-up date * **Check periodically every X seconds for creating a remaining invoice:** The system will check at regular intervals (**every X seconds**) to determine whether it’s time to create the remaining invoice.
