# Steps to Create a Rental Room for a Hotel ( Rental Type: Hotel ) Go to: **Product >> Ad New Product**
## 1: Add General Information * **Add Title & Short Description / Description**

## 2: Set Rental Type: Hotel ### Step 1: Enable Rental Type: Hotel * Firstly, go to: "Product Data" Dropdown, choose: "Rental" Value * Then, go to: "Rental Type" Dropdown, choose: "Hotel" Value
### Step 2: Choose rental Pricing Type by night #### a) Price / Night The Regular Pricing Plan is used when you apply the same rental price for all nights of the week
Example: * "**Price / Night**": $50 * **Booking Duration**: From 05/09/2025 to 07/09/2025 {% hint style="info" %} → Rental Nights = 2 nights → **Rental Fee** = 2 ( rental nights ) \* $50 ( "Price / Night" ) = $100 → **Total Amount** = Rental Fee = $100 {% endhint %}
#### b) Daily Price Use the Daily Pricing Plan if each night has a different rental price * Firstly, you set regular price per night
* Then, you set daily pricing plan
Example: * "**Price / Night**": $50 * **"Daily Pricing Plan":** $50 per Monday, $50 per Tuesday, $50 per Wednesday, $48 per Thursday, $52 per Friday, $52 per Saturday, $48 per Sunday. * **Booking Duration**: From 01/09/2025 to 03/09/2025 {% hint style="info" %} → Rental Nights = 2 nights including Wednesday night and Thursday night → **Rental Fee** = Price for 1 Wednesday night + Price for 1 Thursday night \= $50 + $48 = $98 → **Total Amount** = Rental Fee = $98 {% endhint %}

Example: * "**Price / Night**": $50 * "**Amount of insurance**": $5 * **Booking Duration**: From 05/09/2025 to 07/09/2025 {% hint style="info" %} → Rental Nights = 2 nights → **Rental Fee** = 2 ( rental nights ) \* $50 ( "Price / Night" ) = $100 → **Total Amount** = Rental Fee + "Amount of insurance" = $100 + $5 = $105 {% endhint %}

Example: * "**Price / Night**": $50 * "**A percentage amount of payment**" ( deposit payment ): 50% * **Booking Duration**: From 05/09/2025 to 07/09/2025 {% hint style="info" %} → Rental Nights = 2 nights → **Total Amount** = Rental Fee = $100 {% endhint %} \+ If a customer choose "Full Payment" option, he will pay $100 for one-time payment only
\+ If a customer choose "Deposit Payment" option, he will pay $50 ( 50 % of $100 ) for first time payment
## 5: Configure Inventory Set Automatically Inventory If you have 3 identical rooms, there’s no need to create 3 separate products. Simply create **one room**, then go to the **Inventory** section, choose **“Automatically”** for control inventory, and set the **stock quantity to 3**. This allows customers to book **up to 3 rooms** in a single order, depending on availability.
Example: * "**Price / Night**": $50 * "**Stock Quantity**": 3 * **Booking Details:** Booking Duration: From 05/09/2025 to 07/09/2025, Number of Booked Rooms: 2 {% hint style="info" %} → Rental Nights = 2 nights → **Rental Fee for a Room** = 2 ( rental nights ) \* $50 ( "Price / Night" ) = $100 → **Total Amount** = Rental Fee for a Room \* 2 (number of booked rooms ) = $100 \* $2 = $200 {% endhint %}
**Note**: Suppose you have **3 Double rooms available for rent**. If a customer books **all those 3 rooms** from **28/08/2025 to 30/08/2025**, then **no other customer** will be able to book those rooms during that period. ## 6: Guests ### **Step 1: Show Guests Bar** Go to **Products → Add New Product → Advanced Options → Guests**.\ Enable the guest feature and click **Save**

Example: * "**Price / Night**": $50 * "**Global Discount**": From 5 to 10 nights: $49, From 11 to 15 nights: $48 * **Booking Duration**: From 05/09/2025 to 10/09/2025 {% hint style="info" %} → Rental Nights = 5 nights Because the number of rental nights is 5 (which qualifies for the Global Discount), the price per day is $49 → **Rental Fee** = 5 ( rental nights ) \* $49 ( "Price / Night" ) = $245 → **Total Amount** = Rental Fee = $245 {% endhint %}
### **7.2: Special Time**
Example: * "**Price / Night**": $50 * **Booking Duration**: From 15/09/2025 to 20/09/2025 {% hint style="info" %} → Rental Nights = 5 nights Although the number of rental nights is 5 (which qualifies for the Global Discount of $49/night for rentals from 5 to 10 nights), the price per night is $47 because the booking falls within the Special Time period (from 15/09/2025 to 30/09/2025). → **Rental Fee** = 5 ( rental nights ) \* $47 ( Price / Night ) = $235 → **Total Amount** = Rental Fee = $235 {% endhint %}

Example: * "**Price / Night**": $50 * "**Resources**": Laundry & Dry Cleaning $2/night, Breakfast Buffet $5/order * **Booking Details:** Booking Duration: From 05/09/2025 to 07/09/2025, Booked Extra Resources: 2 times for Laundry & Dry Cleaning and 3 Breakfast Buffets {% hint style="info" %} → Rental Nights = 2 nights → **Rental Fee** = 2 ( rental nights ) \* $50 ( Price / Night ) = $100 Fee for Laundry & Dry Cleaning service \= 2 ( rental nights ) \* $2 ( price / night ) \*2 ( Number of times the service is used ) \= $8 Fee for 3 Breakfast Buffets \= 3 ( number of booked Breakfast Buffets ) \* $5 ( price / order ) = $15 → **Fee for Extra Resources =** Fee for Laundry & Dry Cleaning service + Fee for Breakfast Buffets \= $8 + $15 = $23 → **Total Amount** = Rental Fee + Fee for Extra Resources = $100 + $23 = $123 {% endhint %}
